The TOEFL is an English language assessment of broad credibility and accessibility. The TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) is the result of many years of trial and error and research into language teaching and learning, and the exam is now regarded by educators as a reliable indicator of functional communication skills. TOEFL exercises require test-takers to combine abilities from many areas. One of the tasks on the TOEFL speaking section, for example, is based on student descriptions of reading passages and spoken lecture excerpts. Passing TOEFL scores therefore ensure that the test-taker is fully prepared to succeed in university coursework. The TOEFL iBT is also easily accessible in most major world cities. Test administrations are held throughout the year at test centers in more than 160 countries, and aside from a mandatory 12-day waiting period, a student can take the TOEFL as many times as he or she wishes. Furthermore, the TOEFL is accepted by all university degree programs in the United States, and postsecondary institutions in many other countries will consider TOEFL scores.

Manhattan Review's TOEFL private tutoring and TOEFL prep courses have helped students from all over the world pass the TOEFL and begin degree programs at elite schools such as Oxford, Princeton, Harvard, King's College London, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, the University of Pennsylvania, Cambridge, the University of Edinburgh, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, UC Berkeley, the University of Toronto, Australian National University, Carnegie Mellon, McGill, the University of Melbourne, the University of Chicago, the University of Virginia, and many more. A number of Fortune 500 companies and firms in Kuala Lumpur have hired Manhattan Review's past TOEFL clients, including Dow Chemical, Berkshire Hathaway, Express Scripts Holding, World Fuel Services, United Continental Holdings, PPB Group, Berjaya Corporation, Sapura Energy, Sime Darby, and Astro Malaysia Holdings.
